He led a proposal / memorandum on behalf of Muslim legislators seeking 4% reservation for Muslims in civil works contracts in Karnataka (for contracts up to Rs 1 crore).

This is aimed at parity, as SC/ST and other backward classes already have certain quotas; he is pushing for a similar reservation for Muslims in awarding contracts.

This initiative is not only about fairness, but also about empowering minority entrepreneurs, promoting inclusive participation in Karnataka’s development, and ensuring that economic progress reaches every section of society.
